Backstory

This is Rey Dwivedi

I started my business journey about 4 years ago thinking i was going to get rich with dropshipping (lol)

I had made a video also, it’s still on YouTube

Just like most of you right now, I tried tons of “make money online” opportunities that failed almost every single time.

I bounced around from business model to business model and from guru to guru thinking every time I “discovered” a new one that it was going to work out for me…

I have tried:

Dropshipping

Trading

Instagram Theme Pages

Dropshipping

Affiliate Marketing

Content creation/Youtube

The first thing that ever truly worked out for me was YouTube.

I had lost all the money I had, in trying so many different online businesses and now I was left with no option but to start something which requires no money. And YouTube was the only thing I knew.

So I started making YouTube videos…

I tried so many different types of videos, put so many hours into making videos and taking days to edit them but most of them failed and did not get enough views to make me an actual Youtuber.

I was one of the first omegle creators in India. My Omegle videos were the only videos that went semi-viral but they also didn’t get enough views to make me any actual money. People who started Omegle videos after me went crazy viral but my videos never popped off. And I used to feel so bad thinking …ki meri to kismat hi kharab hai…I was making only about ₹2k-3k a month from YouTube, it was terrible.

By this time my channel had grown to about 40k subscribers and it had stopped growing after that. Now i was stuck in this loop of making videos that were taking so much of my time and energy but I was getting nothing in return.

On the other hand, I was seeing so many of these young people making so much money with SMMA, Digital marketing, and other agency model businesses.

A lot of them were making lakhs and some of them were making even crores. Finally, around September 2022 I decided that I will leave YouTube and do something where I have more control over things compared to YouTube where i could only post, and making the video viral was not in my control.

So I stopped making videos and started my own YouTube Management Agency

for other businesses and individuals who wanted their YouTube channel completely managed by somebody else and I called it ReyMedia(This was around November 2022)

I made a simple website watching YouTube tutorials, to look more credible and got a professional email which was rey@reymedia.in instead of @gmail.com

While setting up the website I saw a video of MrBeast in Hindi language. It was uploaded on the channel named MrBeast हिन्दी and I thought instead of starting with 100% YouTube management and create content for people, why not provide Hindi dubbing to other English YouTubers, they already have the content, I just need to dub it in Hindi.

So, that’s what I did. I collected emails of English Youtubers and started sending them personalized emails and on the 7th email that I ever sent, I got a reply from a big YouTuber.

I pitched him the Hindi dubbing service at $40/minute with free channel management, in Google Meet with a presentation and he was convinced.

Image below: This is the confirmation email from the first-ever client.

Then I hired a dubbing agency here in India to do all the work for me at ₹600/minute.

And instantly I was making about ₹1,00,000/month just from this one client without doing any work myself.

Phone screenshot of this client’s monthly payment:

After this, there was no looking back, I had one client, and signing other clients became very easy.

Money is made by smart work, not hard work and I was doing the smart work by being the middleman instead of doing the hard work of dubbing the videos myself.

I started ReyMedia with dubbing and now ReyMedia provides multiple services in different niches to multiple clients.

I don’t know why people say money doesn’t buy happiness. If you ask me I will say, “Money has bought me happiness.” Not being worried about money all the time is the best feeling.

Fast forward to today, I don’t have to worry about money

I work when I want to without a boss

The best part is location freedom, I work from wherever I want.

“MIDDLEMAN” explained

By now you might have an idea of what a “Middleman” is.

This biz model is essentially connecting businesses/people who want some service to somebody who can fulfil that service, and you take the fat profit in the middle, without doing any work.

It can apply to any service but It’s better if the service is a recurring monthly service.

Examples:

Dubbing

100% Youtube Management

Social Media Management

Facebook ads service

Google ads service

SEO optimization service

Video editing service

Graphic designing subscription

Content writing service

Content creation

Virtual assistant service

Website Maintenance Service

Photography Services

Translation Services

Voiceover Services

Accounting Services

App Development Services

Animation and Motion Graphics

ETC (You can do this with any service you can think of if you have an open mind, the list is never-ending.)

You basically find Clients and take the work from them for let’s say $2000/month (in ₹1,60,000/month) and then outsource the work to somebody else for ₹40000/month and you keep ₹1,20,000/month without doing the work yourself.

You basically leverage someone else’s skills to fulfill the service, because most of these people don’t know how to find the client high-paying clients or they are lazy.

But how will you find these clients? I’ll teach you in a bit, don’t worry….

The best part about this is:

There is 0 start-up cost

You can easily find clients if you know how to find them

One Good client can solve all your money problems

Finding people to outsource the work at very cheap is also super easy cuz there are a lot of skilled people with not enough work in their hand

You can never make a loss in this business because there is no investment.

How are we doing this though?

The Process

Foundations and Systems

Finding clients, getting paid

Outsourcing the work for very cheap

The only things that matter as a Middleman

Sticking to Foundations & Mindset

Keep learning and improving

Building a good system that gets results

Foundations

₹10,00,000/m Mindset

This is where you lay the foundations of what you want to build and who you want to become.

Fixing and figuring out:

Goals

Vision

Routine

Habits

Limiting beliefs

Focusing on “mindset” may not seem important but it is extremely crucial to succeed in business.

Without a good mindset, the foundations of your business are not going to be solid.

What happens when you try to build a skyscraper without a good foundation?

It will collapse after it gets to a certain level…

How do I build a ₹10L/m mindset?

First, you have to figure out where you want to go and get crystal clear on your goals.

No one has ever become successful by accident.

Think about the type of person you want to become.

If you want to be the type of person who makes ₹10L/m then you are going to have to develop the habits of a person who makes ₹10L/m

Get in the gym

Stop doing cigarettes & alcohol

Start reading

Meditate

Get enough sleep

Get OFF of social media

Get rid of distractions

Quit being a dopamine monkey

Business foundations

Once you have a good foundation for your mindset you can then build the foundations of your business.

Creating an offer

The most important part of the foundation is your offer.

This is what’s going to enable you to land clients.

Why would they work with you?

You need to present your offer in such a way that it looks like a no-brainer to them.

Your value proposition should be much more than what you are going to charge them.

You need to give them as much free value as you can, it builds trust and the client is more likely to purchase the service from you.

You can give them free suggestions if you have any for them to improve whatever they do.

You can help them optimize their profile so they look like an authority

You can help them optimize their funnel to get more leads

What should You charge?

It's your business you can choose…You might need to do some research for that particular service you are going to offer. Like, for Hindi dubbing, I called Indian dubbing agencies and pretended as if I needed the service myself and got the rates from them.

Then checked what rates Dubbing Artists/Freelancers are charging on Fiverr. I decided my rates accordingly after the research. Which was $40/minute of the video. Later I realized I could have charged even $50/minute as he did not negotiate even once. I didn’t want to regret it so didn’t think of it too much. I was like what I’m getting is also a pretty good amount.

Money Math - Just 1 client can change your life

If you come from a lower middle-class family like me,Trust me just one client will take away all your money problems. ₹1,00,000/month was enough for me to not worry about money after that although I make much more now.

Use the money you start making from that one client to grow your business and many more clients.

You are just one client away from changing your life.

Finding Clients

Think about where does your ideal client hang out? What would be the best place to reach them?

Examples:

Instagram

Twitter

LinkedIn

YouTube

Email — A lot of people have an email in their bio that says “business”

Free Communities (HIGHLY underrated) — Discord, Telegram, Facebook Groups, etc.

What type of client should I reach out to?

Obviously the bigger the client the more money you can make with them.

There are a ton of different niches you could work with.

All you need to do is land one good client and you are set.

The more outreach you do the faster you will land a client.

I would aim for 100 per day.

Appointment Setting

This is the process of turning a conversation with your ideal client into a booked sales call. This is extremely easy to do

3 types of setting

Hot - Inbound: These are conversations where the prospects DM you after seeing your content or something about you or maybe they are a friend or someone you already have a relationship with them. These people know a decent bit about you.

Warm - Outbound: These are conversations where the prospect is familiar with you.. These people have seen you before.

Cold - Outbound: These are conversations where you reached out to them to start the conversation. These people don’t know you, so don’t be an idiot.Use Calendly to schedule sales calls through Google Meet or Zoom

Sales Meeting Framework

This is one of the most fun aspects.

Sales calls are fun & making money is fun.

Sales is easy to close as long as the prospect is actually a fit. If they are broke, don’t spend too much time on them.

If they are on a call with you they most likely already trust you a ton and will be easy to convince them to partner with you.

Here's how to close…

(Sales is not rocket science, it’s super easy as long as you understand the customer's mind.)

Sales Structure

Examples of questions to ask

Intro/Rapport

How has your day been?

Where are you calling from?

How are you doing?

Frame/Set the Agenda

I hope you don’t mind if we go ahead and get right into it, I do have another call after this.

So the way the calls typically work is I need to ask you a couple of questions, get a better understanding of your requirements.

Where you are at, and what you are looking to do and if I see a fit I will let you know what we can do and how we can help you out and at the end you can make a yes or no decision whether you want to move forward or not.

Discovery/See if they are a fit

How long have you been doing this (whatever they do)?

Who are your expectations?

What are your requirements?

Have you talked to somebody else regarding this?

Pain

“What would you say is your biggest challenge right now regarding this service?

"What would be the ideal situation for you, and how does the current situation fall short?"

"If you could change one thing about your current situation, what would it be?

"You said you are at xyz situation/revenue but want to be at abc situation/revenue, whats really holding you back from already being at abc right now with what you are doing?

“Why do you say that’s the biggest challenge?

”What happens if you don’t achieve ___?

What happens if you do nothing?

Summarize

"If I understand correctly, your main challenges are A, B, and C. Is that correct?"

"You mentioned that you've tried X, Y, and Z solutions without success. Have I got that right?"

Desire & Transition to Pitch

"If we could provide a solution that resolves your challenges, how would that change things for you?"

"What does the ideal solution look like for you?"

"Are you open to exploring our product/service that seems to align with your needs?"

Objection Handling……

Now that you understand what sales is as a Middleman.

Once you get 1 or 2 clients and start making ₹1-2L/month money, then you can get into diversification and marketing your services through funnels which is much more advanced version of bringing in clients. Once you learn that phir zindagi set hai samjho….clients itne honge ki handle nahi kar paoge…..
